Question out there.. Curious to know if anyone has used used ground coffee beans on their sir Walter lawn.. I'm thinking of just throwing it all over and working it into the grass.
Thoughts?

Sure, in fact the garden is a good use of grounds. Just search for ground coffee in garden. You may need to adjust the pH a bit upwards with lime.
I used them a lot on my vegies and i mix in the soil every now and then. I was just wondering about the lawn. Last thing i want to do is kill it :)
I got two bags worth of ground coffee, that I'll dump on the lawn when i get home :)
I put my grounds in with my compost, so it gets worked into the veggie garden eventually.
Been doing that, but you can only put so much apparently otherwise the acidity gets too high
I guess that depends on how much coffee you drink. ;)
poor worms won't be able to sleep.
@altomic: But they will be able to beat the early bird.
Coffee ground should be composted not used directly.
Been doing it the last couple of weeks, grass is fine so far. Only have 1 shot a day
Been doing it for my veggie patch (Mmmmm, caffeinated veggies!) and buffalo for years. Doesn't seem to hurt the grass anyway.
