Just purchased a dvd player from Aldi on clearance $19.99, reduced from $39.99
5.1ch dvd player with HDMI. HDMI cable is included in the box.
Also has USB.
Apparently it also rips css on converts tracks onto USB

None. They put all their "special buys" in the centre aisle.
I was about to ask who still buys DVD Player, but the USB playback capability may do this to be one of the cheapest Media Player I've seen so far (not sure how good it's, supported formats, etc).
I checked the manual online and I can't see a list of supported formats (it says AVI and DAT, which means something/nothing… but the screeshot shows a mpeg4)
