Good morning all. There's currently a great deal of concern about Uber's business and privacy practices, and I thought it was worth ozbargainers knowing of them, nicely summarised by a Macworld post — http://www.macworld.com/article/2848628/why-you-should-delet…
I do not endorse or disapprove of Uber or their competitors, never having used them, but the management don't seem to be the nicest people to deal with.
It would be VERY interesting to hear from Uber drivers what they think. And Uber users for that matter.
Meh – I like Uber! Only used it once and the ride was are around 30% cheaper than a normal taxi.
The driver was really personable and friendly. Even let us drink soft drink in her car and offered us bottled water.
I have also terminated an account that I setup as a mistake (business credit card on personal account). One email and Uber promptly deleted my account and data within the hour.
Zero complaints about Uber – imho lots of people butt hurt for no reason.
