Bought one for a sony phone complete with custom cover a few years ago. It was cheap and really gave no longer life than the original battery.
Not sure if there are some that do what they say?
hmm not sure whether to bother or not
I did some research for my good old S3 and found the "kinps" branded batteries are better quality… of course if you can find the original "kinps"

I've had experience with MugenPower and Anker batteries. Both are well known brands and are very well made. However, they are pretty expensive, but if you want batteries that don't lie about performance stick with these two.
I've also read around and found "PolarCell" (Fake German brand???) to be another third party brand. No experience with it however but from reviews they were found to be worse than OEM cells.
from experience i have had they are very hit and miss i once ordered 3 for a lg phone i had one was doa the other lasted half of the original the other was 2 times better than the original.
