They are good, but don't believe the 12 month battery life claims. Mine ran flat in 4 months. Still good but nothing compared to what they claim!
Is it rechargeable?
I think they are replaceable coin batteries.
chocsyrup is right, not rechargeable, but replaceable (four small screws on the back, take those off, and it's a small coin battery). Only place I've found them available is eBay though.
Also available in VIC.
Reviews seem pretty good. I need to replace my Fitbit (lost it!) and tossing up whether to go a wrist based one like the Garmin or another Fitbit One. Prob harder to lose a wristband one, but maybe holding out for the new Fitbit charge bands.
Same here, Fitbit fell off and waiting to replace.

I have both the Vivofit + the HRM
I almost have mine for 1 year now and the battery is still going strong.
It's waterproof so no worries about dipping the thing into water.
Pretty happy with it.
Thanks OP. At this price, the one to get I reckon.
I went through 3 FitBit Flexes in 10 months. They just kept dying on me so I got a refund from Harvey's and bought this same Garmin Fit. It's been 4 months now and going strong. I like it much much more and wouldn't go back to FitBit.
Purchased CBD Brisbane.
I would love to buy one but I can guarantee it wouldn't fit my wrist. I have to use link watch bands so they can add a couple of inches of links. If only the rumours were true between the manly wrist and my size 13 feet … but alas… :(
Are these any good? Saw an ad on a bus mentioning long battery life but no idea otherwise why a new entry to a market with obvious encumbents would be more expensive.
