I went to cut my hair today, at the barbers there are two prices that I consider relevant to me: Haircut $12 and 'crewcut' $10 which they have duly printed for all to see on paper on the wall, now I always just get a 'Number 2 all over' cut, my question is this, since this is a very easy cut should this be considered a crewcut instead since all they do after going all over with the clipper is just make sure my sideburns and neck are level… and BTW I got charged $12, so this question has been going on, should I pay less or are they right in charging me more?
Regarding haircuts: when is a crew cut NOT a crew cut?

crew cut is shorter.
buy clippers and do it yourself, 2 hair cuts and they are paid for.
Maybe you can tell them "a crew cut but with longer sides" or something along those lines?
Been getting just a crew cut for years (#3 all over) and my barber does the sideburns and levels the back… $10 special. You got ripped.
I have to agree if only clippers are used regardless of the number it's a crew cut!
I guess I'll vote with my wallet and go somewhere else… OR maybe I go back there today, grab him by the neck and say: "Give me back my money!" $2 bucks… pfff ;-)
Yawn.
