Hi guys I am in the market for a DSLR camera for the first time. Budget is around $500. Looking for something that will take better procures in low light than my current compact camera. Not travelling overseas any time soon. So it doesn't has to be from an Australian vendor but I want good warranty service. Please advise.

Not really, $371 after shipping. Yatango is doing $509 with the 55-210mm zoom as well. That's probably a better deal.
guys looking for an some lenses for my Canon 700D body only during the 20% off ebay sale on sunday
would this Sigma 18-250mm f3.5-6.3 Macro OS HSM Lens be a good all purpose lens? comes to $311.12 (after 20% + 2% cash rewards).. reading comparison reviews don't really rate it that good though (compared to a canon lens)
also what about this Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens for a cheapo prime? comes to $100.52
