Tips Getting Cheap Tickets to State Theatre Melbourne

Hi All,

I'm planning to take my grandma to see Tosca at the state theatre in Melbourne but I've noticed the prices are fairly high for the seats. Does anyone have tips or tricks for getting cheap tickets or discounted tickets?

It depends feather or not you're willing to waddle up on the day to buy at the door.
I tend to buy in advance, but why not take a quack at it?
