    interested to know what do others use it for? bought one to split to 2 headphones from one audio output from the electric drum. found the volume also cut in half.

      I DJ in nightclubs and sometimes go 'track for track' with other people i work with, using one of these makes it so we don't have to share a pair of headphones. No problems with volume though.

    I use one to split the audio from my pc to the internal speakers in two 27" monitors. I have not noticed any reduction in audio volume when using it.

      Those monitors must be really close together for the cable to go into both? Or do they each have an AUX cable?

        They are next to each other, but they each also have an AUX cable leading to the splitter then back to the pc.
