  • how much are they with sets of 4?

  • I am not sure as different dealers different prices. I will find out tomorrow.

  • 175/65 R14 (ie, standard small size car) price please? Thanks :-)

    • Hi, have asked one of Bob Jane's, unfortunately the Primacy is not available for your size. The next one available is XM1+ $120 each.

  • Its a Tomtom One.
$299 is a BS price. You can get a Tomtom XL for $299.
They sell for around $200 everywhere..
Having said that, i have a tomtom one. They are great, and so is this deal.

  • Yep, these tyres were twice the price of the ones i bought for my car yesterday, not really worth it unless your already planning on getting extremely high quality tyres.

  • Looks like the Michelin website is broken…

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 16777216) (tried to allocate 1572864 bytes) in D:\michelinap\var\michelin_site\cache\template\compiled\pagelayout-10ac0856f6be3a6cb233426815940200.php on line 1539
Fatal error: eZ Publish did not finish its request

The execution of eZ Publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.

  • I clicked on the link to read full terms and conditions and the page was just blank grey.

So it's about $800-$1000 for a full set of tyres?

Not really worth it for your average joe, seeing as the GPS is worth $200.

    • It took awhile to have the page downloaded for some reason. Depending on the size of the tyres and what sort of quality you are looking for the tyres. As long as you don't buy the perfomance one, you should expect the tyres will last for at least 60,000 kms (also depending on how you drive your car). It maybe worthed for some people.

  • Tyres are possibly the single most important safety aspect of any car people!
Too many people underestimate good tyres..
    Michelins are pretty damn good.

  • they only go to 15s, check out the tyre size for the two types…

MICHELIN Primacy LC is the new reference in high performance: it absorbs driving noise and reduces your fuel bill.

MICHELIN Primacy HP is the high performance tyre that lasts 25% longer1 and brakes shorter in the wet.

would be a pretty good deal if you could get them from 100-120
400 dollars for the tyres with a 200 dollar GPS… if they went down the 14s i would have grabbed them for the GFs car as she is in desprate need.

  • For R15 they are 205$ each.

Goodyear are 155$ each in KTAS. The difference 4 X 50$ = 200$, you can buy Tomtom 1 (218$) or Garmin 255 (192$) at JBHifi.

Michelin is better than Goodyear, but I don't want to wait for the GPS. If you can wait for the GPS, this Michelin deal is a bargain.

    • Just called BobJane and Jax this morning, enquiring 205/65 R15 tyres for my old camry. The quote me $147 and $155, don't know if it's cheap or not, but seems much better than $205 in your post. Anyone get a better price for this size of Primacy LC tyres?

  • Got my TomTom One this morning. Took a month and a half to reach but still before X'mas, sweet.
