It's quite annoying with the tiers. In order to get all Hunger Games titles, you would need to fork out $15 to get all 3 audio books.

Look at what places like Audible charge for the 3 HG books and you'll see that $15 is cheap!

I believe you when you say it's cheap. I'm not complaining about the price, more about how it's "pay what you want" but oh wait, you need to spend a minimum for certain things.

        • Not familiar with the concept of "pay what you want" deals?

@Possumbly: When they were first introduced, it was exactly as it sounded: pay what you want.

        • @mafmouf: Not talking about the "rules", the concept. Doesn't work if people have unreasonable expectations. We all expect to be paid for our products or efforts surely?

        • @Possumbly: You are right. I understand they should be paid what for what they do, especially if they give options for charity which is great. I'd just be a little happier if they referred to the sale as a 'tier bundle' or something a bit more relevant to advertise all the good games before we assume we can buy it for whatever we want.

FWIW, I generally have been purchasing these at the BTA values (if that's still around) and about half to developers and half to charity.

    • I guess they do it like that to prevent (profanity) getting them all for $0.01 or $1.00 or something.
