  • Great musical, very palatable by all crowds including older children. Highly recommended, and this is a great price!

    • Took the family a few weeks ago. My 6 & 8yos loved it and didn't have problems following the story. Those midouri's went down a treat also.

  • How appropriately named…I like when I see the title Tab on my Chrome and it says "'OZ' Wicked The Musical".

  • u can get great seats at this price.I got mine balcony first row in Melbourne and we all had a great time. Do go for it!

  • Spewing just went to Wicked last week forked out $200 for 2 tickets at Row M

guys, if you really want a bargain for wicked then don't use this. 2 hours before every show, they do a ballot thing where you put your name in to win 2 tickets at $30 each. they give around 30 tickets out, and most of the time there aren't many people there, so you are guaranteed to win. only thing is that it is cash only. i have done it 3 times!! love wicked

    • Yeah, not many people are going to make that kinda effort unless they are a local.

  • Hi parismeow….can you let me know the actual procedure for getting into the ballot. Do I call Capitol theatre or do I have to turn up in person 2 hours before showtime? This would solve heaps of problems as my 3 kids are dying to go but at $170 a pop, I just can't do it.

    • ParisMeow do you ever manage to get decent seats? if so where abouts?

      Thanks :)

      • I've found some info about the ballot in the post below.

    I've found the following:
    http://wickedthemusical.com.au/index.php/wicked-lottery-comm…

    It actually said:
    HOW THE WICKED LOTTERY WORKS
Commencing from the evening performance on Tuesday 7 October, a limited number of $35 tickets will be available for each performance from the Capitol Theatre Box Office
    * Limit of two tickets per person, cash only
    * From 2 hours 30 mins prior to each performance, names will be collected
    * Two hours prior to each performance names will be drawn
    * Winners must be present (with valid photo ID) when their names are called, or they forfeit their tickets
Please note: The ballot tickets are not to be onsold to a third party

So looks like you simply show up 2 and half hours before the show and put your name down, then wait 30 minutes for the ballot result. no mention on the seats etc, but I would presume they would want to fill all the seats. so as per shown on the ticketmaster website, there are still lots great seats in dressing circle and few in stall too.
    http://www.ticketmaster.com.au/Capitol-Theatre-Haymarket-tic…

Haven't said that, I havn't actually went to the ballot as I already bough my tickets, so I can't comment on how they assign seats etc. Good luck guys.
