Thank you. The code didn't work for some reason the first time but did the second.
Cheers. You beat me with the edited post, but you should get this screen after entering the code.
Thanks for this. Used to use this before Photoshop had built in HDR.
how about lightroom? photoshop is overkill for me but i want to try learn using lightroom
Lightroom doesn't have HDR or photomerge.
But if you want to do basic things like shadows/highlight recovery, adjust contrast, saturation, sharpening, noise reduction etc lightroom is definitely easier to learn
Kinda. You can do image merging via plugins.
LR/Enfuse works really, really well and costs a couple of bucks.
Nik HDR Efex is excellent, but costs money.
It did not ask for any code when I used the direct link above given by nkahoang (mac version)
Photomatix is responsible for a 95% of the shitty HDR infecting the web. Unless you are actually trying to produce clown vomit, you are better off using Photoshop or Nik HDR efex.
I agree that a lot of the "popular" HDR images seen online are way to overdone.
Thanks…I have an older version but this may be worth a whirl
This is just what I need! Thanks TA!
Pretty sure these are standalones. They also have Aperture, Lightroom (and photoshop?) plug-ins so you don't have to break your post processing workflow.
Great timing, just took a bunch of bracketed photos on holidays, would have been looking for something like this soon.
cool. anyone know which kind of notebook (spec, screen, etc) i need to buy if i want to run a lot of HDR processing?
