  • I've been e-mailng them for the past few days trying to see if they can get the previous deal. They keep implying it may not be the same deal but "try and get the same price".

IMHO this is a better deal than last one, since the grip is not cheap if buying without the camera

      Minimum $246

Good deal, but I don't understand why you'd want to use a grip with a small camera such as the M4/3 system. If you buy into the M4/3 system, it's probably for size, which this grip goes against. Otherwise, you'd be better off with the Sony A7 if you're a die-hard mirrorless person or a full-sized DSLR.

I believe there are backup batteries in it?Also as I know the grip improves the handling comfort a lot.

      • You are right. There is an extra battery.

        • Not included though

        • @poop:

Some cheap fake batteries aren't that bad, I bought some for Canons and Sony Nex, they are damn good if considering the low price.

That is the listing for the holder. $299. confirmed not to include an extra battery, just room for an extra battery.

        • @jva: I wouldnt risk a generic. They also don't charge with the olympus charger so you need to carry around another charger.
Might be better ones out there for Sony etc but for oly I've heard they're not great.

        • @poop:

WOW, Olympus charger is so picky.

        • @poop: Wasabi batteries have good reviews on Amazon. Bought them myself.

        • @jva: if they are good, they should not be called "fake". i have one for my D800, it works out very well, much cheaper than Nikon's original battery.

        • @Perete: i have wasabi for my gopro, they are ok, not better than other
generic" brand battery. i am talking about gopro though.

looking for good price on omd em5 with 12 - 40 f2.8 lens. The best so far has been Ozbargain earlier this year for an amazing $899 taking into account the $200 cashback

  • Goooone!

  • Gone………

  • Not there? Why do I keep missing these ffs!! I don't even need the grip, just the OMD E-M5 or M-10 body with a decent lens, or a good deal on RX100MK3

  • nice, it's sold out again! just before i have to time to hesitate….

  • Update: I just called they said they do not have stock. Expected wait time is around 1-2 weeks as they need to order them and than send it.
