Farmhouse Direct - Free Shipping (24 hours only)

170

Farmhouse direct have free shipping for 24 hours only, starting this morning.

Now is a fantastic time to stock up on your favourites, try something new or try a different farmer's wares. Be adventurous, explore 300 plus producers' delicious produce and seek out something exciting.

Don't confuse this with Aussie Farmers Direct. This site works as an online farmers market, connecting you directly with the producer. Selected producers that I love include Myrtleford butter, Jones potatoes, Patrice Newell garlic and Hope Farm breads.

You might be thinking 'meh', but there are significant savings to be had here, and this offer doesn't come along often! The way this website works, each producer charges you directly for shipping. Say you buy small amounts from 10 producers - you'd ordinarily be looking at somewhere between $5 - $12 shipping per producer. Today it's free!

A few things to bear in mind:
Free Shipping is on now, on all orders on Farmhouse Direct until 11:59pm 19/11/14 AEDT, while stocks last.
Buy from up to ten producers in one checkout.
Some producers ship to specific locations only.
Quite a few items are out of stock / out of season, but there are plenty of goodies to be found.

Warning, you may have a heart attack when you see the prices and quantities!
Apart from some difficult to get items you would almost always be better off heading to a local market or butchers.

I'm not sure that I'd compare beach bananas with stock standard ones - they are a native Australian plant, and only a handful of growers offer them, hence they are hard to come by and a high price per kilo. The minimum purchase for shipping for this supplier is only $15 (and they have quite a few items starting at $7.50). The shipping cost is $20, so good value getting it waived.

This is one of my favourite websites to buy from. You might find things cheaper elsewhere but the quality here (at least what I've bought so far) is superb. Highly recommended.

Raw Pure Honey is $10 for 1KG.

Both Coles & Woolworths sell their cheapest honey for more than that due to a honey shortage. Even Aldi's cheapest honey is $10 for 1KG but not raw pure honey. Given honey prices nationwide have almost doubled in the past few months, this is a great price. Just bought a couple of jars. Thanks OP.

    More about honey.

  • I had the Macadamia Nuts twice already and they have been cheaper than at the supermarket and much better. And where can you get the Macadamia Oil otherwise?

Finally put through my order. Cultured butter and buttermilk from Myrtleford Butter factory, gorgeous new season purple garlic from Ananda organics, some 2014 EVOO, black garlic and 2 x packs of fresh torillas from La Tortilleria. Yum!
