  I think Big W usually has at least one model under $100, as I see that at the moment they have both a Bush (preferred) and an AWA for $98:

    crazystu does them cheap and they're supposed to be OK.
    $98 currently but he often runs special prices with free delivery..
    You're not going to get a brand name HD unit at that price..

    Any TV upgrade will have a built in HD tuner anyway, so if you're looking at a digital box with future-proofing in mind, don't bother… If you just want SD channels (there is a tiny bit of differing content on the HD channels of 9 and 7, very occasionally but not really enough to justify the price), you might get a brand name unit with a nice remote for under $100..

    Also if you have a laptop or an old PC, you can pick up USB tv tuner sticks quite cheap (ie ~$50) and they're High Def..
