Thankyou knick007 for your help unfortunately sarah is 28 will look into China Eastern.
I was looking for economical way to send winter clothes to save on excess baggage.
It would probably be cheaper if not the same price to just get a return ticket. Since you said he is going for a year his partner could just book the return date a year from now.
I know most airlines also allow you to change the return date for a small fee or sometimes free depending on fare type in case they have not decided on a return date.
Probably cheaper to just pay for excess baggage than organising shipping to London from here. Although from personal experience when I lived in Europe for a year I had 30kg checked in baggage and 10kg carry on which was more than enough clothes to last me for the year. Perhaps if you are planning to visit them there within the year you could also bring some with you.
try getting to kl or hong kong with air asia then more options open up.
Hi razorack999
Thankyou hadn't thought of that option.
some thing like this
Thankyou altomic great suggestion and options very helpful
Ok did a bit of searching for you…
One way with China Eastern $1520.82 (From expedia)
If your son's partner is under 26 they can get a student fare discount through STA travel and fly with emeritus on the 7th of Jan for $1196.61 —-> PRETTY GOOD FOR ONE WAY
What do you mean?
