        • @ahlala: They all should.

        • @ahlala:

Still abit skeptical considering the following in the exclusions…

Online and in-store gift card purchases and purchases made through online aggregators such as PayPal or other retailers are excluded.

        • @ProjectZero: Amex don't know whether you bought a gift card or not from Myer. it all shows up as a Myer purchase.

  • Online and in-store gift card purchases and purchases made through online aggregators such as PayPal or other retailers are excluded.

    • +6

they say the gift card are excluded everytime but I always get them
I got it for vintage cellers, dan murphy, target etc

no good online cause myer gift cards are on another website so they prolly know

      in store is fine

  • I don't see any offers on my recently applied AMEX issued cards - is there something I need to do for them to start populating the offers?

    • I hear you buddy, I'm in the same boat. What gives!

  • Does someone have a direct link?

  • I just spent $145 at Myer last week!!! :(

    • +1

      Then it doesn't matter…?

      • +1

Means I have to spend more money to save some money… as opposed to spend a bit more… :/

        • +4

Return the things you bought…then buy them again.
          Unless its underwear… .

        • @ofey:
Nice idea, but it was makeup. :/ And opened / used last weekend. Boat has sailed… :)

        • +9

@amelyn: does not matter. Buy whatever you want including the makeup up to $250. Return the newly bought makeup with the old receipt.

        • @wtfnodeal: Genius. I'll have a think about it and try to find the old receipt. :)

        • @amelyn: Make sure it doesn't fall within one of their exclusionary items! I had this idea for a pair of headphones, but saw their returns policy.

          http://www.myer.com.au/need-help/returns-policy/

        • @badtzmaru56: Good point: Cosmetics including fragrances is in the exclusion list.

        • then david jones is better. they accepted my return on fragrance

        • In ozbargain, you always have to spend some money to save money

how many eneloops do you have?

        • @argamond: LOL. I think I've got one set of glitter, one set of chocolat, and maybe 8AAAs. :)

  • got it.

  • +1

When I log in, it constantly takes me to a "register your card" page, then after putting in my card number, it says we can't register your card, call Amex for assistance.

    I suppose that's because I have a bank issued card? :(

    • bank issued card there most like be another link some sent out in next few days on here for people like you and me.

      • I just tried the link again and now it works. I didn't need to log in to the Amex connect website thingy. Instead I just entered my card numbers and email address, all good.

  • +23

Anyone can confirm if this is the real website and can register bank issued card? (I made it up by myself …)
    https://enroll.amexnetwork.com/AU/en/myercredit/

    • Looks promising.

      • +1

It works! I put my already saved-offered Amex issued card in, then it said:
        "Sorry
Oops, our records show that you've already enrolled for this offer. We limit the number of times that a Card Member can enrol for each offer."

Of cause I already registered via Amex internet banking. So it's a real deal! YAY!!!!!!!!!!

        • Works with Commbank issued AMEX

    • Works for my Westpac AMEX.
      Got email confirmation.

I am totally broke. the previous Dan Murphys deal, I had 9 amex cards.

and this myer deal again, $250 x 9 !!! Crapppp

      • +1

Isn't taking advantage of these deals supposed to have the opposite effect?

      • How could you have 9? I have six and thought it is already a lot.

        • cba , westpac , and amex CPA ( with 4 supplementary all different numbers on it )

        • @bbqwer: I have both cba and westpac ones. The cba's additional card has the same number. Does the westpac's additional card have the same number? It is cool to have 4 supplementary cards! Well, i still couldn't add up to 9.

        • @Saturday: My westpac card is a secondary card and has the same # as the primary card… wish they are different. lol

        • +1

@eleana: Thanks. I think it might be just AMEX issued cards that will have different numbers, as mine BMW and Qantas AMEX cards' additional cards are both with different numbers.

      • what do you want to buy with that myer gift card? don't tell me you'll ask for refund after you got $50 from amex. it's just so…..

        • Doesnt need to be myer giftcard. BUY coles group myer, which you can use at many stores: coles, target, kmart, coles express for petrol, and many more. The most I love to spend is petrol station.

you can also buy iphone 6 $999 ( and it will be only $800 ) assuming you can claim GST again, your new iphone 6 will be around $700ish ! WIN WIN

        • @bbqwer: how are you going to save $200- it's only $50.

        • +1

@wxyz234: 4 lots of $250 gift card purchases gets you $200 in rebates.

  • Yay again! Last time this happened I bought $250 worth of itune cards for $150 I think.

This time you can get $300 worth of itune cards for $205. Not too sure when the 15% off for itune cards in Myer expires though…

  • does myer sell coles giftcards too? Hoping to get ones i can use for fuel.
    Thanks

    • +2

Coles group/ myer. Should be good for fuel.

      • Great, thanks!

  • Does anyone know if Myer is selling iPhone 6? Thanks.

    • +2

Yes, selected stores, but you are better off buying gift cards then purchasing your iphone through Officeworks via a pricematch.

      • Thanks which gift cards I can buy the iPhone?

        • +3

Make sure you buy the cards that say Coles Group & Myer Gift Card http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/39370/26491/colesmyer.j…

It comes in different designs and can be used at Coles, Coles Express, Myer, Kmart, Target, Vintage Cellars, Liquor Land, Officeworks and First Choice Liquor.

        • @unity1:

          Thanks heaps!!

        • @unity1:

can't find this Coles Group & Myer Gift Card in my local myer

        • @bctransit: Looks like Broden must have got in before you did.

But seriously, just ask them when they expect them in or visit another Myer store.

  • Haven't bought anything in Myer for a while…
besides gift cards (and I do hope you get the $50 credit!)

    • correct

  • I have David Johns Amex card, why I never received any promotion from this Amexnetwork? Is there anything specific you need to do?

    • Yes, keep an eye on ozbargain and you will find all the offfers. Click the link and register your card. Simple.

    • +2

David Jones don't want you shopping at Myer ;)

    1. during the Offer Period and after the date you register your Card;

Has anyone had any problem with same day purchase of register?
I just bought some now unsure whether able to return and purchase tomorrow..

  • +1

Am I the only one who finds this statement confusing? :

The following transactions are not considered eligible spend for the purposes of the Offer:
    1. Purchasing a merchant's goods through a third party. For example through a department store and/or concession store (e.g. David Jones or Myer), online aggregator (e.g. PayPal) or retailer

  • Can anyone tell how to get this kind of promortion info from AX? Need to register newsletter or?

    • also want to know the answer here

      • Thanks for the link! But I found I already registered this before, never received any promotion email?

        • You might need to tweak My Profile Communications.

Although having said that, I have all communications selected and since you raising it, I too realised that I don't really get much emails promoting the offers. But it could just be due to not getting all of them as I have a bank issued card, not AMEX issued.

I just try to remember to check my AMEX Connect regularly, and as someone else mentioned here, sit on OzB 24/7 lol =P

        • @AnDyStYLe: Thanks!Maybe the reason for the bank issued card:)

  • +2

Hmmm I didn't get this offer in my Amex Connect (ANZ FF Black card), but I still registered via the link provided. The registration was successful =D

  • I think it's gone now.

  • I just registered by Amex and CBA Amex.

  • Cheers OP!

  • Anyone used bank issued AMEX card to buy Coles Myer 250 ddollar gift card today and received confirmation email on 50 dollar credit yet?
