Decided to take my wife out for lunch, because I'm that sort of guy. Anyway as well as a great Costco meal for 2 at less than $10, I stumbled on a pair of Rockport business shoes at $69.95.
Depends on the shoe:
Work shoes $70-100
Dress shoes $50-70
Runners ~$200Work shoes Black Leather Florsheim Comfortech on sale for just over $100: best shoes ever
About $4 if I can get away with it. $30 if its really required.
I've been spoiled by this bargain and the fila click frenzy sale from last year, so I guess the max I will pay nowadays for any type of shoe is at most $40~50 dollars.
Just paid $50 for these business shoes, can't remember the price of the last pair I bought … too long ago
I see the avg price of running shoes around the $120 mark. How much does it cost to actually make them?
I am guilty of spending a bit more. I worked in footwear whilst I was at uni and ever since I have been spoiled. The other reason why my average is high ($150+) is I prefer to buy good boots as they will last longer and be able to be resoled, it is the $300+ boots that knock out the sub $150 sneakers that I buy.
Florsheims are currently at 50% off: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/170279
These days around that $70-100 mark. My last purchase was some DC shoes and they have lasted really really well and are a great fit for my larger feet.
