I recently purchased a titanfall xbox one controller from the online Microsoft Store thinking I'd be safe getting a nice new product
Receive it and it's got scratches all over it and some other little issues, obviously a returned unit (the guy said they sell returned units new still)
Finally got them to give me a prepaid label so I could send it back (were trying to make me pay for return postage)
Just curious, has anyone else had this issue with them, and are they even allowed to sell returned units as new? Sucks if you ask me when you are paying for a new product
Most places that accept 'change of mind' returns, will sell the returned product 'as new'. But they also have a strict policy that the returned product has to be in 'as new' condition.
It is a vary rare occurrence for a defective unit to be sold, rather than sent back to the manufacturer. Perhaps it was simply labeled wrong during the return. A human error. It happens. Sucks that it happened to you, especially via an online store, But unfortunately that's part of the deal when buying online.
Hope you have better luck in the future!
