Be aware this is the previous generation of MacBook Air, hence the reduced price.
Current generation are
1.86GHz MacBook Air (MC233LL/A)
2.13GHz MacBook Air (MC234LL/A)Yes, but not exactly the previous generation. This is the 2nd gen, pre-WWDC '09 Air. The current ones are the exact same spec as this but with a .26GHz bump. Everything else is exactly the same (120GB, 9400M, Mini DisplayPort etc). Seeing that the new ones are $2399 and this exact same laptop is $1899 refurbished, it's an AMAZING bargain. You're losing next to nothing compared to a new Air and saving $800!
good spot there, 260 MHz speed improvement ~ 16% faster CPU though. the only other differences is on the battery, the one is 37-watt-hour battery, new one 40. Not a huge deal there. Good price. full specs see pdf http://www.snap.qut.edu.au/graphics/snap/MB543XA.pdf
The 802.11n standard has just been finalised so if you intend to use the N wireless you might want to check it is compatible with the final standard otherwise you may run into trouble with new N devices..
I don't think the N wireless standard has been changed in ages anyway, so this shouldn't be a problem. It was just officially finalised recently, with no amendments.
