Qantas is currently offering 2x QFF points per AU$1 with Qantas Cash on eligible foreign currency (non-AUD) spend.
Eligible purchases exclude money orders, traveller's cheques, gambling chips, adult entertainment or purchasing foreign currencies in cash.
May be useful for those of you shopping online and paying in foreign currency.
Yea agreed. Probably not the greatest option if you plan on immediate shopping. But one advantage of using Qantas Cash is if you want to lock in exchange rates. The AUD has been smashed in the last couple of months so for people who are worried about it plummeting further heading into Christmas, it's a possible option.
I received an email today to tell me that offer has been extended to 31 January 2015 now :)
You may get double QFF points, but you will be ripped off on the exchange rate.
You will save more money by using one of the following
Credit card - 28 degrees or Bankwest Platinum cards
Debit card - Citibank Plus transaction account
