If you didn't manage to score free tickets for the 'Taste of Melbourne' and are desperate to get in, groupon has a deal: Admission for One ($15) or Two People ($29). Tickets are $25.50 on the official site and $30.60 at the door. tasteofmelbourne.com.au/tickets-info/
What's the catch? It's only for Thu Lunch or Fri Lunch/Dinner.
For those who haven't heard about the event it's similar to the 'Night Noodle Markets' except that you pay for entry and there's free 30 minute cooking classes (for those who get in first, as soon as you get in sign up for this). Other than that your ticket doesn't include anything else. Best to go with friends and split up/line up for different places. The menu is already up.
Positive vote from me, but correct me if I'm wrong - entry doesn't not really give you "samples" to try as you need to purchases the small dishes as well?
