    Of course you want it. Take them to tribunal and get them to provide you with what u payed for. If not ask for compensation for lost time, angish, time off work etc. good luck!!!!!.

      Pursuing things to the bitter end like this will just make our society just like the US where everything is based around suing others and getting sued. At the end of the day, the only people who make money from all of this are lawyers.

      Sometimes it's better just to live and let live. I agree with OzHunter, sometimes you just have to cut your losses and move on. As easy as it is sitting behind a keyboard telling other people to take things to court, all it does is create more wasted time, more wasted energy, more rich lawyers, not to mention that you'd hardly be able to prove that you lost time, suffered anguish and took time off work for a $295 iPad not being delivered. Seriously.

    a store not being able to source a item in 2.5 weeks is not a nightmare, offering you a refund is not a nightmare.
    it sounds like your attitude probably caused the nightmare.

    • The store brought up me such attitude so it is still the store who causes the nightmare. Accept or not, It wouldn't happen in Myer or Jibi-hifi. But next byte, such a XXXXX company. You wouldn't calm down when you face them and this is enough to cause the nightmare.
