  Anyone have any experience with the bikes? I'm an amateur bike rider and haven't rode a bike in years.. So I'm looking for something that will do it's job, but not cost too much.

  I plan to ride the bike to work so maybe 40-60 mins for a one way trip.

    ~$100 bikes, like the ones available at Kmart and cheapo-type places, work great for using a couple of times a year. I'd assume this aren't much better quality than that.

    But you'd quickly regret buying one for a solid commute like that every day.

    If it's all riding on sealed roads, a road bike (light frame, thin tyres, much more distance-per-pedal) is what you need, but there's really no budget version of those.

    I suppose you could get one of these cheapos, figure out in a month or so what annoys you and what breaks, and use that to make a more informed choice. But might as well do the research online instead.

    I've had no real troubles with my cheap chinese head unit. And with aldi's return policy you can't go wrong

    Road tires typically require 80 to 130 psi, mountain tires 30 to 50 psi and hybrid tires 50 to 70 psi.

    Yes they do have a rear rack I recall. I went to ALDIs today and saw it comes packaged with a "bicycle beam rack" -google that. It's not a proper bicycle pannier/rear rack where it attaches to the rear wheel. It connects to the seat post only like other cheaper racks just like the ones sold in Kmart.
