Lost My Samsung S3 :(

Hi all,

I just lost my Samsung s3 and wondering if any of you tech savvy would know how to be able to track the location or lock the device? below is info regarding the phone

  • The phone has no sim card in it - I recently change my phone to a new one and have took the sim card
  • Wifi is enabled
  • I don't have Samsung account- only android google account. have tried to locate via android device manager but it shows as "location unavailable"
  • I could not remember if I have erase everything on that phone but I just changed my google password so the thief wont be able to access the playstore - will this actually helps?

    Did you install anything that can help track the device before losing the phone? Like Cerberus

    (and I think if the phone is out of battery or turned off.. then you would be out of luck, at least with any of the gps tracking methods)

      No I didn't install anything like that and I have my gps off too to safe battery life.. :(
      I think I learn my lesson………….

    If your Samsung acccount was setup correctly this would work if on 3G/4G/Wifi… http://findmymobile.samsung.com/login.do

      But I don't have Samsung account . don't think this will work isn't it

    If you used Facebook on it, remember you can log out by going to security settings.

    Did you try https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager
