So I bought some logitech z506 speakers off one of the DSE 'sales'a couple of months ago. I only just got round to opening the box and when I tried turning it on it wont work! So it seems like it is DOA.
So can I just go take it back to any store and get an exchange/refund?

I purchased a tv from them online which turned up damaged. After a couple of phone calls they came to pick it up. I rang them the day after it was delivered so not sure how you'll go after a few months but worth a try.

I brought a no name tablet from them a few years back for $150 odd and the first week the usb port fell out, DSE went backwards and forwards trying to say optus or ZTE had to fix it who would refer me back to DSE who would hten say take it to a store who would say you ahve to call the online dept.
they finnaly agreed to refund or replace it and then after posting it to them they kept it without a refund and sent it back to me 6 months later un repaired saying it could not be fixed and had to be refunded. In the end i gave up and they won, no repair no refund.
would have called and emailed 40-50 times most of the time them agreeing to refund or replace it only to give me the run around or lose the complaint but in the end just did not have time to continue and cut my losses so yeah NEVER EVER BUY FROM DSE
Cool story. I will stop buying from dse from now on.
After a couple of months it will be hard to claim DOA. You usually have to check the item on arrival and report any problem within a week or two.

Why not call them first?
