As new games for the PS4 are beginning to be released, where would I be able to purchase new releases for a more affordable price? Max $50. I feel like game prices in Australia have been pushed up compared to overseas so I would prefer to pay the "normal" price for a game rather than the Australian price. This is not about specials or deals, just where the games are cheapest normally. Thanks!

Pre-ordering from DSE is a lot cheaper than Zavvi. For example, Far Cry 4, GTA V and Assassin's Creed Unity are $59.98 if pre-ordered in store compared to $80+ on Zavvi.
Yep, I'm currently looking at purchasing TLOUR and Shadow or Mordor. So far, Ozgameshop has been my go-to source. I'm kicking myself for not getting them from DSE on pre-order when I had the chance. But I think I will get GTA V.

Wtf are you on about OP? Game prices in Australia have been lower then ever for the past 1-2 years. Big W, Target, JB have been driving the prices down. Most I have paid for a new release game from retails is about $62.
Even the base price for games in the US is $60 which is around $69 Australia which most new releases in Australia have been going for. Your idea for a $50 or less brand new game is well out of the loop.
Wes is correct. Games are dropping in price quicker than Everyone-Other-Than-Louie in a Mortein ad. $69 is about the most you have to pay retail on release day, unless you're an idiot and don't price-match at EB.
For instance, just a year ago, people were paying $110 full-price for GTA5, and now GTA5 is coming out again and it's only gunna be $69 full-price.

Buy through Gumtree… $40 for a new release.
Buy from overseas. Zavvi is one place to check, though there are other UK-based stores as well worth looking into.
