I have just set up a new website with a new price for the Huawei.

With this website you will have to register an account (on the Register page just put any digits in for your Phone number,at the moment I am unable to disable it)
It will only takes a couple of minutes to register, you pay for the required credits with Paypal, select the Service needed, add your IMEI and click on the "Place Order" then sit back and wait for your email with the unlock code.

All the Factory Unlock Codes are processed automatically from the processing of the IMEI to the emailing of the unlock code to you.
Any delays will be due to the server and should not take too long.

Just log into your Paypal account and make a $3.99 payment to [Deleted]
Please include the Model,the IMEI and your email address with the Paypal payment.

I will process your IMEI and email you a confirmation email when the payment is received and processed.
I usually get the codes back the next day but they can take up to 3 days to get back.

Sometimes I get a message back that the code is "Not Found" in the database with some models, in which case I will refund your payment.
These codes can still be obtained but will cost $5.49.

      With the optus ones, all you need to do is recharge $80 or wait 6 months as as far as I can remember.

          Get the Telstra one then. At least you can use cheap credit to unlock it.

          @Astro551: you can use your prepaid credit to unlock the phone. So just get a half price or better starter pack and use that credit, but after the phone is at least 6 months old when the price of unlock goes down to $27.50

    I got the code from Bagman to unlock my new Huawei Y550. I entered the code and it said I was unsuccessful. The only screen that came up on the phone was one that said "emergency calls" only. No screen came up to re enter the code. I contacted Bagman who looked into it for me. After many emails from Bagman I just gave up and played around with the phone. It was unlocked all along but in the mean time Bagman said if I got a replacement phone he would unlock it for free. A great person to do business with.

    I tried to private message you, but can't as a new member.
    I sent paypal on Monday 23rd March (for a Huawei Y550 unlock code, Tran ID# 04463693B1971762N) and have still not received an email with it. Did I send it to the wrong account, or perhaps it was somehow overlooked? I've checked spam and junk and there's nothing in there.     First review! Fourth phone successfully unlocked by Bagman (3 using previous method).

    — Received successful unlock code in 8 minutes via email.
    — Even though it is written a couple of times above still tried to enter IMEI and then purchase, not buy credit first. Bagman for anyone going to your website this
    may be a but confusing? Maybe a "remember to buy credit first before order" message on the dashboard would be useful.
    — The last digit of the IMEI number was added automatically and I didn't initially realise this (again could be because I'm tired).
    — Couldn't find anywhere to change initial details, only password, e.g. if your email changes (although there is an alternative email column on the order page).
    — In the FAQ there are some great tips for unlocking LG and Huawei phones. If you linked this under important information this might be more helpful and clear for
    people.

    That's about it. For $2.20 and 8 mins fantastic service thankyou!

    Before signing up, I triple-checked the IMEI on my new Huawei Y550.

    Entered my IMEI, was puzzled that the page added an (uneditable) extra digit. Hmm, must be some checksum/error check correction, so I hit enter.

    First unlock code for my Huawei Y550 arrived in less than two minutes, but when I tried it, got "Network unlock request unsuccessful", and none of the additional codes worked either.

    Went back to square one. Checked the IMEI for the fourth time, and (you've guessed it) it was wrong.

    Added another $2.20 in credits, clicked the buttons and a new set of numbers arrived within two minutes. Three minutes later, I had my Vaya SIM working.

    Even with my dumb-idiot error (which was in no way bagman's fault or responsibility) I only spent $2.20 x 2 = $4.40, so was happy.

    What I've learned:

    • check check check check check your IMEI
    • read sparkyglo's tips, they're gold

    Can totally recommend bagman's service.

        Just in case anybody misunderstood my posting, let me say again: the fault was entirely mine and mine alone - I stupidly typed in an incorrect IMEI. As I wrote,

    I take it the way the website works is you only enter 14 of the 15 numbers.. The last number is auto generated?
    If that is correct maybe its worth altering your site to say first 14 of the IMEI where at present it just has IMEI : *. And then put above the grey box last number is generated automatically.
    It's not Exactly clear that the last number in a grey box is calculated from the first 14.

    leaving it as is will lead to error when people copy and paste a full 15 numbers.

      Agree. I also found that confusing, but in the end it worked it out fine.

      Yesterday a friend bought the same phone (Huawei Y550). I offered him the freebie unlock credit which bagman gifted me, but it's so cheap that my friend just signed up himself !

    Looks like the suppliers server has come back online after being down for the last 24 hours.
    If your order has come back with an error message, try and process your IMEI again later.

      I have disabled it on my website due to my suppliers server being down … I will put it back up when the server is up and running without any problems.
      All I can suggest is to check later and if online, process your IMEI then.

You shouldn't really need this as I can see from earlier postings that you volunteer refunds on unlocks that you're unable to deliver on.

    I have a prepaid sim with Amaysim which i am currently using on my dying HTC sensation. I just purchased the Huawei Y550 today. (K-Mart $49). If i get the unlock code (when the servers are back up), do i enter the unlock code with the vodafone sim, or the Amaysim sim?? I realise you are probably banging your hand on your forehead right now in disgust of my ignorance. And yes, i am embarrassed of my ignorance as well.

          Looks like a few suppliers are having the same problem getting the codes.
