Jetstar sale on with $88 flights one way to Bali. There are also $33 return flights to both Sydney and Brisbane I've found in June, $25.70 flights to Perth, $27.43 flights to Adelaide and $28.78 to Melbourne.

    Took about an hour, but finally managed to get through using the iOS app. No booking fee either with a debit card.
    $136 return including seat selection is just ridiculously good, I've spent more on one way SYD-MEL with Qantas in the past. Probably will have something by then to claim GST on as well :)

    Great all the errors under the sun… no bookings completed over several hours but now I have two confirmed itineraries emailed through!!!

      How to cancel it ? It's a kinda of non refundable ticket.

      I do double booking as well, poor Jetstar…Need to reconstruct their server.

          Yep I am waiting to try and do that now… Other issue is it refused to accept my CBA MasterCard Debt as one, it's a plat one but clearly states Debt Mastercard on it… wish me luck with fixing all this..

          @simong: Just as an update, 15 minute wait but agent was good and has processed the refund for one of my fares (will take up to 15 days).. she did seem to suggest that it was easy because it was inside 24hrs, so I suggest calling today to rectify. As reference my double booking were not exact duplicates they were in fact months apart but she let me choose which one to cancel.

          On the Debt Mastercard issue she advised me to lodge a case on the website, which seemed fair enough!

        Wasted over two hours - tried the app but all the deals were gone.
        I even got all the way to choosing direct deposit - clicked 'continue' ….. timed out!

    I booked it about 60 minutes ago on the Android app (finally!!!! thanks) and cost $631 for three adults with seat selection and loads of baggage! I had payment problems at the end when I clicked purchase and it said the booking timed out - I tried to put it through another 10 times! Then, miraculously I actually received a booking confirmation so it all went through in the end!

    I have booked finally after hours of trying with the server overload.
    done it via the ios app.

    payment error but received email 5 mins later.
    checked online banking and surely money was taken out.

    Can easily get through to the final payment screen on the Android app but it keeps saying conneciton error please try again when I hit the button to purchase.

    EDIT: Eventually got it working on android… 2x return in August for $261.40 from Perth. Hopefully not a big deal to add a child later (not born yet).

      On my email it shows 7kg limit only for flights to Vietnam with JS Pacific

      Starter fares are 10kg for 2 items on other JS flights

The limit applies to all domestic and international flights booked from today, however the ruling will not be implemented until November 25.       Website on PC and iOS app both worked for me 15 mins ago but I couldn't find any tickets. Sale ends 23:59 tonight but looks like most, if not all, tickets are sold.

      I spent 5.5 hours last night trying their website and eventually got tickets at 23:30.

    I thought my attempted booking failed on the Android app. However this morning I noticed a card authrisation of $146 on my debit card for Jetstar. Then checked my spam folder in my gmail account and noticed the itinerary email there :P

    I can't believe Jetstar still has these site problems. Surely in 10+ years of operation they would understand that this sort of sale will draw abnormal traffic.

    It also pisses off other people who are trying to buy full price tickets. Jetstar don't really have much to differentiate themselves from tiger(apart from QFF).

      I can't answer for everyone but my view of Bali is that it has something for everyone.
      IF you like the wild party scene - it has that
      IF you like culture and history - it has that
      If you like five star luxury and pampering - it has that
      If you like adventure sports - it has that
      If you like just lazing by the pool or beach - it has that
      If you like shopping - it has that
      and so on.
      It sometimes requires a little effort to find the Bali that you will love - but it is definitely there if you look for it.

    I tried for 3 hours yesterday on my laptop and didn't manage to get anywhere.. Although the app timed out on the processing screen I received an email a short time later confirming 2 return flights :)

    This offer wasted my time. It was like an alluring advertising scam. More than five times I had available flights but got errors before I could complete payment. I started in the second hour of the offer and constantly got that the website was busy and to try again later. I never got in. So I gave up on the first day.

    The next morning I actually was able to get into the JetStar booking site but it took a long time to find available $88 plus $33 return pairs. Each page redraw of searching was taking a couple of minutes.

    On the occasions when I did manage to find and select an $88+$33 pair, most times on clicking "Continue" the following would eventually pop up:

    "ERROR
    [1018:ClassNotAvailable] Sorry, we are unable to reserve the selected flight(s) at this time. Please return to the Flight Select page and choose another flight(s)."

    or

    "Gateway Timeout
    The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server.
    Reference #1.f8986596.1414456281.6ac9cb0a"

    Frustratingly one occurrence of this last one was when I got one step away from payment.

    Securing a bargain was so often so temptingly close. Fiendish. I wonder how much person time was collectively wasted around Australia on this JetStar quasi scam.

      Sounds like you kept trying when the site was overloaded. I ended up trying all evening (while watching TV) on the first day with no luck… Went to bed and couldn't stop thinking about it so got up and tried again at 11:30PM which worked perfectly! Everyone had given up and the site was working perfectly.

      7am-9am still worked fine on the second day as I was finding prices and days for friends.

      Next time, wait until others give up!
