AusPost query/over charged?

I sent a GoPRO 3 through auspost, sent it from Sydney to Port Lincoln. With insurance and signature on delivery, the total price came to $58 for express postage. Does this sound correct?

I had my brother post it as I was at work or else I would have questioned it on the spot.

    at work. The auspost site is blocked and ozbargain isn't, strange I know lol

    It should be correct. Just did a dummy quote on auspost and it's like $23 to send regular mail and $44 with express.

    Add signature + insurance for say $500 and you got the amount.
