    I bought these headphones full price last year and in all honesty I wasn't too impressed with the sound. I suppose the sound was too warm(?) and bassy for my liking.

    I much prefer the sound of the Audio Technica ES700, Sennheiser HD25ii and Sennheiser M985, all of which can be found cheaper online elsewhere.

    (Note: This is just my opinion, others may disagree)

      Good bass (not overly exagerrated like UE's but still above neutral), warm vocals still upfront, rolled off treble. Like with most senheissers, vocals are the main attraction, closely followed by the bass. Better than the m50, not as good as the circumaural version.

      Listen to the headphones only you can decide whether the freq response suits your liking.

    I picked these up for $128 from Dick Smith at the EOFY sale. I use them every day on bus to work. Sound great, very happy with them. Incredibly comfortable also.
