For sure. As there are still so many people buying iPhones and iPads at full price.
Look at all the people buying Iphone6 then I can safely say there are plenty out there who still buy at full price.
Unfortunately custom-made Macs are always at full price.
Most of them only have 8Gb of Memory which isn't much… so upgrading to 16Gb requires a full-priced Mac + a $200 custom option.
Not usually at launch but I have got lucky a couple of times where a big JB store has had a popular BTO spec in stock and have applied the discount. Usually just a basic RAM upgrade etc but still was a nice surprise.
The MacBook Pro 15 inch Retina has 16GB standard (making it a good buy at these deals when you need 16GB … ). You should always be able to get 10% in the Apple Store …
Last week I paid $1935 for a $2199 macbook pro 13" so almost $264 discount. Quite nice discount.
I'm wondering what marketing genius thought it was a good idea to have 3 Xs as part of the headline of their sale.

Look at some of the past advertising slogans, Dick is the punchline.
Probably the same genius who uses "Dick" in their marketing slogans in ways which attract attention, but are just innocent enough not to get them in trouble. It is in fact very clever IMO.

Was going to post the same thing.
I wonder how far you'd get pointing out that their ad said 10% off Apple Mac … and did not list exclusions for these.
Currently Myer have 20% off Panasonic products and JB HiFi have 20% off many Panasonic products also. Worth comparing. I found Tricky Dicky generally has higher base prices. Hence cheaper elsewhere.
I wonder if there is anyone out there buying Macs at full price these days.
