  We had one for a 4 wheel alignment that was insanely cheap… had it done on a car that needed it and they did a fantastic job (different business, different city).

  That is not saying there could be a trap with yours… for all that you list it would be costing them.
  Be wary.

  worth a try at $29 - think of it as taking it to get your car hand-washed/vacuumed for that price. Maybe you can then let us all know what the experience was like. :)

  Could it be labor only, and charge premium for filter/oil?

  We did that using a place in Collingwood/Fitzroy, the place next to the Greek Restaurant, near Smith St.
  It was like $59 for a full major service, ended up paying a little more as we had to replace something, but otherwise it was a damn cheap service.

  Note: I would have thought a fluid replacement rather than top up is required at a service

  I know this place and work nearby, its been there for ages.
  No real risk

  I wanted to try, but they are all booked till next week and have to waste a whole day to get it done…as i live the other end of the city.
