Cheapest Plan for a Dual Sim (Moto G 2nd)

Hi guys,

Just received my new Moto G 2nd Gen today and looking to have a cheapest combination to use talk (low usage:$200) and download (1.5G to 2G).

Just bought a couple of telstra sim ($15) and Vodaphone pocket wifi ($19) currently on sale at Coles.

Looking to get sage advice from experience/pro people on oz bargain. First time using prepaid telstra and vodaphone.

From my research:

Sim 1: use Telstra prepaid, activated on Long life ($30 pack = 6 months), then switch to Simplicity for 0.15c/min, no flagfall & 0.20c/text, thus plenty for six month. Then after six month, move to prepaid vodaphone ($15 cost) for one moth then back to Telstra prepaid ($15 cost)

Sim 2: mainly internet - use telstra prepaid tablets $30 (cost $15) for 2GB/month.

will that be the way to go?

The other options 2

Same for sim 1 as above

then have the Vodafone pocket wifi bought $19 included 3GB for one month then recharge $125 for 15 GB.

This seems better??

Any input from anyone???
