they probably will.
Stall speed is usually less than 1/2 of rated voltage so no reason why it'll not 'work' at 8V,
response probably won't be linear though, so, even though 8v is 2/3rds of 12v, it's not likley that you'll get 2/3rds of the air flow, more like less than halfhave a quick google otherwise, i'm sure there's gajillions of projects out there that mess around with DC voltages on 12V fans :-)
