When Do Christmas Sales Usually Start?

I actually have money to spend this year, and I couldn't find another thread of this name. As per topic, when do Christmas sales generally start?

  aaahhh yeah so the boxing day sales are usually on the 26th but some only open on the 27 (different rules on whether u can open on public holidays)
  
  for pre Christmas sales
  they usually have it soon, when, depends,
  myer and dj's are have mid season sales already

Everyday is sales on ozbargain. I don't wait till Xmas.

Usually the whole of December. The retailers will try to push for Thanksgiving for end of November. Not that many people celebrate that in Australia but whatever gives the retailers excuse to run more sales. Afterwards they would be focusing on the Christmas sales.

Probably the start of Nov, the catalogue after Halloween is probably going to be the first sign of xmas catalogues

The best sales are just before Christmas when it's like 30% off whole brand. After Christmas it's just markdowns and stale stock at 30, then 50, then 70 off.
