Hi, I need to send a fax to my credit company to transfer a balance. The information is very confidential but I don't have my own personal fax to send it with.
Can I do this through windows? Faxes are pre-historic to me I don't get them at all ha.
Is there a free online option that is relatively safe? Is this secure at all http://www.freepopfax.com/?

Or a pharmacy. Yeah the internet can be hacked easier than a phone line.
The post office will send a fax too.
Rather than mess around with your PC to load software, scan documents etc
Easier to go to Officeworks/Library/Local Milkbar/ and pay a few dollars and its done.
If the docs are going to a bank, use the local branch to fax for you.
Has your workplace got fax ?
Windows can do it, but you need a real phone line (ie can't do it over Naked DSL, WIMAX/4G/3G or Cable)
Still need a fax modem. Haven't seen one of those for a while…

Check out utbox.net - I think they have a free trial. This is a reliable fax/sms site that I have been using for business purposes for several years. Essentially it converts your docs to PDF then transmits to fax via the net.
Why not send it from a newsagent? Yes, there is a small fee, but I think it's much safer than putting your confidential documents on the internet.
