I put the powder in first, then fill with a bit with warm water and manipulate the agitator by hand to dissolve the powder, then add the clothes.
This works for me, but YMMV.

I'll probably pre-dissolve the powder as best I can in a bucket filled with hot water then put it in with the washing machine which will only run with cold water. Thanks for the tip. Of course I'll only have to worry about this if I win.
The question went something along the lines of "Why would you make a good product tester?". I had fun answering it but I have no idea what sort of answers they are looking for. I just tried to sound as convincing as possible.
The packaging says that the product is suitable for cold water and it comes with a scoop so I don't have to randomly guess how much is correct. I will give it a go to see if powder has improved since I last tried it.

I just picked up my box. I didn't have to buy anything with it which was good as I was using my partner's flybuys account to buy the weekly groceries. The checlout operator was quite impressed when the total went down to zero for the item.
So, shall I try this again? I entered the sausages competition and won one of the 1000 prizes. I might as well try my luck with this one.
I find that laundry powder doesn't dissolve in my washing machine so I've been using liquid for the last 14 years. Does anyone have any tips as to how I could get this powder to dissolve properly so it doesn't stain my clothes?
