Please provide examples of the hardware from 2008 Apple has used recently to warrant such a statement?
Well, I must say, it was pretty disgraceful that they used AMD Radeon 5700 series cards in their Mac Pros until December 2013. Not quite 2008 tech, but September 2009 — not far off!
Much of the apple mobile offerings may be 2012 vintage, but their chip design people are sh*t hot and well able to make leading ARM designs.

Needs more JPEG compression artifacts. What is it with leaked pictures and tiny, blurry photos that look like they've been resized using MS Paint?
Can we get the CSI team to enhance these pictures please? I'm also looking for someone who can do this by creating a GUI in visual basic to trace the IP of the person who leaked these images.

Well, there's no point in Apple "deliberately" leaking them, because the new iPads are being officially announced in the next 12 or so hours anyway.
