Holiday to China (Shanghai) in 2 Weeks Need to help finding Cheap Tickets

Hi,
Being relatively new to OzBargain.com.au I was wandering if a return ticket from Melbourne to Shanghai for early next month for 2-3 week worth $850 including tax? I understand if I planned sooner I might get a relatively cheaper price. ie https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/152865 planning months ago.

    There's a few options though some have long waiting times.

    my tickets costed 1500 return direct but i guess im going during dec. May i ask what activities and hotel u will be staying in? Planning the itinery is so hard when u never travelled before :S

      the current flight path is not direct, but has one stop. I'll be mainly visiting friends and family/relatives, so accommodation will be with them.

    look at itamatrix.com flights, can see flights and wait times for dates you want to travel. then phone airlines for comparison. Skyscanner.com.au will give you multiple flights on dates, prices and flight details as well.

      thanks for the suggestion. However, I tried several comparison websites and most offer sub $800 but with a great deal of travel time. :(
