Bought this last night and collected it this morning. Looks to be the cheapest I could find with a couple of decent bonuses.

4 x Bodum double walled glasses (2 x espresso and 2 x regular coffee size)
6 x 500g Vittoria Coffee (6 months coffee by their advertising and is exclusive to HN)

The glasses come with the unit, but the coffee is by redemption.

    6 x 500g Vittoria Coffee (6 months coffee…

lol That's only 6 weeks coffee for Ozbargainers…

  • Have you tried the machine, How hot is the beverage once it comes out? Thanks

    • +1

So far have only made 3 espressos and they came out nice and hot. It can also pump out hot water from the steam nozzle for a hot cup of tea if you don't want to boil a kettle.

      • I've been interested in this machine for a while. From what I've read it does a decent espresso. Have you tried to make anything else? How is the milk frother?

        • Yep. It makes a cappuccino as a selection on the panel and I have made hot chocolate using the milk frother. The frother works well and comes out nice and hot.

      • Picked it up for 575.

        • Where from?

        • @wombat1955:

Harvey norman. They gave me the cups but I missed the redemption för Thé coffee as it had to be bought on the 13th.

  • Just before someone gets excited about it, that is not a fully automatic machine like the lattissimo series from DeLonghi

Btw a lot cheaper available online if the coffee is not needed

    • I did look at that one, but it is the model below the one I have listed as it does not have the automatic milk frother. Also, we don't have Billy Guyatts in Adelaide, so the shipping and support would have been an issue.

As for comparison with the Delonghi Lattissima series, they are Nespresso (pod) systems, whereas the Saeco grinds beans fresh for every cup.

Also, we don't have Billy Guyatts in Adelaide

Neither does any other Australian city… It's an on-line store only now, although you can do a pickup from a couple of Stan Cash stores.

        • Ahh, so that is the Brooklyn and Keilor store pickup locations then, but for me, shipping to Adelaide calculates at $14.11 via Australia Post. These come in a pretty big box and I don't think I would like it bounced around in a truck from Victoria to Adelaide.

      • What is automatic about it since you have to do it yourself? Would be interesting if it was a one click solution.

        • How much more automatic does it have to be? You put water and coffee beans in it, press a button and you have an instant cup. If you want some frothy milk, you press another button. Seems pretty easy to me.
