      Doesn't mean it's not a bargain. The genuine Apple covers usually go for $50+ so this is a pretty good deal.

Picture for the blue one is wrong - there should be no exposed metal bits.

    The iPad mini never had the metal bits, only the full sized ones from iPad 2 up till the 4th Gen. The iPad Air came after the iPad mini and followed the design.
