Anyone know of any cheap car leasing companies? I'm looking into leasing a car for work through salary sacrifice but have never done it before.

a quick question, can we claim tax on a leased vehicle which is used for personal and as well as work commute?
Who is leasing it? If it's a novated lease (eg salary sacrifice) then no since your company is already claiming the tax deduction. Technically any benefit from work use could accrue to you via a greater before tax component to your contribution to the leasing cost, but that's if the company used operating cost method to value your vehicle benefit (which they almost certainly won't).
If you are leasing vehicle directly and by work commute you mean getting to work from home, it's same as the age old question 'why can't I claim my bus ticket to work as a tax deduction?' I personally don't agree with it because IMO there's a clear nexus between the cost of travelling to work and earning your assessable income, but allowing this deduction would cost the ATO too many $$$. If it was legitimate deductible work travel then yes some deductions would be available.

Leaseplan is one of the huge ones with a lot of buying power behind it. Your employer may not even give you a choice of leasing companies, best to check who they'll allow you to use first.
