I guess it's all about how many razors you go through (and what you're already paying now). The blade I use is, according to the website anyway, good for the ladies as well. So my wife and I see a bit more savings because (on top of me using it) she can use those blades instead of the expensive ones she was using before. That being said, she said it's not quite as good as she'd liked, but to each their own.
The dollar shave club razors are rebranded Dorco razors.. you can buy them from the US using a forwarding service and not have to cough up the monthly charge. I don't have rough facial hair, but a single blade lasts me months. Great shave too

So if I was to pay for the 1st month of the 2 blade for $4 then upgrade halfway through the month to the $10 one I'd get the $10 one for free in the 2nd month then cancel and it's only cost me $4 for two razors including delivery and handles?

I found it on one of those coupon code compilation (say that 5 times fast!) sites, which sadly doesn't have the original source.

I don't think there's anywhere to enter a coupon code if you've already signed up.
Personally I think the dollar shave club is a gimmick that isn't cheap at all.
