There are a bunch of news articles popping up about the recent Red Bull out-of-court settlement for $13M (just Google for Red Bull free $10 or similar to find tons of info).
I was going to post this as a deal, but the website that has the online claim form currently has a banned domain due to 'not available in Australia'. You can see the claim form here: http://www.energydrinksettlement.com/claim
If you go through the online form, it allows you to enter an Australian address to have the the US$10 cheque OR 2 free Red Bulls sent to you. I wouldn't bother with the $10 as it's probably going to cost you more than that in fees to put it into an Australian account depending on who you bank with, but two free Red Bulls is two free Red Bulls.
You have to sign the following statement to receive the product/money:
(1) I bought one or more Red Bull beverages (Red Bull ® Energy Drink, Red Bull ® Sugarfree, Red Bull ® Total Zero, or Red Bull ® Editions) in the United States between January 1, 2002 and October 3, 2014;
I personally can't see how this is 'unavailable in Australia', as it allows the Australian address entry, and tons of people in Australia have visited the USA in the last 12 years and could potentially receive some freebies here. I also couldn't find any other discussions on this so feel free to point me at them if I'm wrong.
Has anyone gone right through and tried this to get some free Red Bulls? I can't personally as I haven't ever been to the States.
Howdy,
The reason we unpublished these as deals is because there is no guarantee this will go ahead and if it does the final details aren't set, as per their FAQ
If the courts approve the settlement and the matter is finalised, I don't see why can't allow this to be posted as a deal, assuming it is still available in some form to Australians, maybe it will be 2016 by the time that happens with appeals and everything? Until it's guaranteed it can't be posted as a deal.
Good you have made a forum topic about the subject however for any discussion / updates relating to it going forward and certainly people can register their claim and hope for the best for now.
