Dropped my nexus 4, and my screen cracked. The touch screen doesn't work anymore. Went down to a local repair shop, and they quoted me 190 to replace the screen. I thought that was ridiculous, considering I only got the phone for 290.
Anyone know better places?
Preferably South East or cbd.

Haha yeah. But I also want to get a PS4, and a new TV. So would love to refrain from spending another 500 on a new phone, if this one can be fixed. Plus, I like the nexus 4.

You'll find it difficult to get a good price as it's not a popular enough device to warrant stocking on the materials (especially digitiser).
I'd suggest DIY but even then it'll cost quite a bit…
Better to just upgrade
DIY kit from ebay. Or just buy another phone with that repair money as quoted.
Buy a used nexus 5 from gumtree instead
good excuse to get new phone…
