Next gen was the 910xt and they are about to release the 920xt, so maybe this model is finally on the way out. Great price if you don't mind the look of these - a 910 will set you back well over double, i'm sure 920 will the same or worse. I've got a 910xt and apart from some occasional glitches it's great for runs and bike (though if using this one for bike you would need to get the bike quick release kit separately as it isn't in this pack).

its over 10 yrs old and it is huge.
I just bought one other day via ebay (15% off deal) for pretty much same price (with hr strap). Happy with it so far.
920xt is out already.
Main difference is what the watch can do whilst swimming but I dont wear it whilst swimming anyway.
What the. My garmin 310xt was 60% full on my run this weekend and suddenly died. It kept complaining the battery was too low.
Is Amazon watching me?
I'm very happy with the watch although newer models seem to be a bit more accurate in some of the other non essential features (eg total climb).
