I think this is a better panasonic phone though. http://t.thegoodguys.com.au/product_details/50022320#.VDERYm…
You can use your own mobile phones as handsets - if the home phone rings you can answer it on your mobile at home( uses your wireless network) and make calls as well of course.
Changed my mind, this touch scren phone you have is really good, even has google play store.
doubt you can use any mobile phone as handset with this PRX series. PRW series yes.
can you register a sip voip number?
Just ordered. Should be able to stream netflix via chromecast as well.
Remember the screen is pretty low resolution but you can use your own smartphone as well.
How can we use our Smartphone as Landline ? or you saying smartphone to this landline phone.
Here is what I do. Buy a Fritzbox to replace my old router. The fritzbox does dect, home automation and has its own VOIP/SIP/PABX in it so you can make your mobile use the landline or other VOIP provider.
my setup receives incomming calls on my telstra number and makes outgoing calls via maxotel voip. Doing this means I keep my home number and when I dial out to people I have caller ID setup to send those I call my home number. So they know no different.
Calls are much cheaper when I do not use Telstra and I only pay $20ish dollars per month for telstra line hire.
So mobile + fritzbox will do the job.
$100 for this panasonic phone is not bad btw.
It works via wifi. No extra stuff to buy it is part of the panasonic phone. They have a few models that do this.
You can make and answer landline calls while connected to the network at home.
Apparently the Panasonic android app is a battery drain.
If I didn't read that would have bought one
anyone unable to sign into PlayGoogle?
