To date, I've never once been able to pick up one of these Officeworks "limited stock" deals. And I have had multiple branches to choose from. Maybe the OW gods have frowned upon me, I don't even try anymore.
Added to cart and allowed me to start payment. Therfore had stock
See the post below. It's not until you get to the very last step that you encounter the problem.
I got all the way with entering my details, calculating postage etc, when it came to the final page to pay it then said out of stock, I tried again and it lets you add to the cart without checking stock levels!
They let me paid for it but called me a couple days later and refunds in a week.
Not worth the try!
Get a free scan app on the phone.
which one?
Microsoft Office Lens. I use on Windows Phone, not sure if it is available on Android or iOS.
$25.95 postage, I would have bought one if the postage wasn't higher then the price of the item
These days, easier to scan it from your phone's camera using Camscanner or similar app. One less thing to carry hence why these portable ones are almost going extinct as a result.
This offer is expired. Items are out of stock!
Thanks for your efforts Bleugh
There is this: Duplex. http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/brother-ds-70…
Note: this scanner is quite awkward to use with A4 paper. The width of the feeder is wider than an A4 sheet, and there's no paper guide to ensure it pulls the sheet in straight.
End result is either you get most of your scans coming out skewed, or you get a lot of papercuts from trying to guide the pages in straight.
2/10. Would not buy again.
I have the duplex model (700D) and had a similar problem at first. I found that if you feed it in on the right side of the scanner it works better. I haven't had a misfed page in ages and would buy again.
Can these do receipts that you get from DSE/Officeworks/etc?
Would be handy if you could just scan these into a hard drive where all purchases are kept. Instead of filing or photocopying the receipts.
I've been using a spending app - can scan/photo receipts, also added up the amount, categorise/report.
Clearance! no stocks or maybe 1 unit - meaning no stocks.
